What Members Thought
Unbeknownst to me when we began reading this book my daughter hid the rest of the Mary Poppins books because she wasn't loving it... by the time we were done she was asking if we were going to read the rest because she'd changed her mind. The ultimate test for me with kids books is whether or not the kids like it. My girls did. I didn't love it. It was good but not a favorite. I grew up loving the movie "Mary Poppins" and this book in (almost) no way resembled the movie. This was good and bad. S

I couldn't finish it. It really is a children's book...and not one you can read for the first time if you're already an adult. And Mary Poppins comes across as a snobby bitch to me.
