masterful but frustrating. a genius work? yes. an enjoyable reading experience? no.
As always, Virginia Woolf's books are not an easy read. They're dramatic, full of feelings, and written in a stream of consciousness, but they're undeniably wonderful. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, unless you want your attention and capacity to process her language stretched to the maximum, but once you get in the mood for her books, well, they pull you under.
