DNF. I just could t get over what he did. No matter how much he groveled, it was too much, unforgivable in my eyes.

I could not put this down the angst meter was at full and tipping over.

STONED is a heartbreaking and heartfelt story.

Stone and Willow had been each other's first loves and as Stone and the guys reached stardom Willow was with them every step of the way. They were a family, they had each other until the rockstar lifestyle, drugs, alcohol, women also became a part of Stones life and Willow hung on for as long as she could until she couldn't anymore, the boy she fell in love with was gone and she I could not put this down the angst meter was at full and tipping over.

STONED is a heartbreaking and heartfelt story.

Stone and Willow had been each other's first loves and as Stone and the guys reached stardom Willow was with them every step of the way. They were a family, they had each other until the rockstar lifestyle, drugs, alcohol, women also became a part of Stones life and Willow hung on for as long as she could until she couldn't anymore, the boy she fell in love with was gone and she didn't recognise this new Stone and after a series of heartbreaking events she left.

"The day Stone stopped making music with me was the day I died a little inside".

A wake-up call for Stone, a painful realisation that he had lost the only girl he would ever love, his girl, his songbird, his birdie and then a near-death experience causes Stone to fight his addictions and begin the battle to win back his girl.

"This girl has always been my home. The music in my soul and the lyrics of my fucking heart. My rhythm. I used to tell her that. All the time. I stopped and there was nothing to remind her anymore"

Stone will make you swoon but will also make you mad. Willow was so damn strong to get over what she went through with Stone and it's an eye opener to how blinded addicts are to the hurt and anguish they cause to those they claim to love.

So much angst, frustration, a roller-coaster of emotions when Stone finally finds Willow over a year later after rehab and searching for her, there's also the added unease of a love triangle.

Willow is determined to never be a pushover again and Stone is determined to win his birdie back, there's a lot of push and pull.

My heart was beating like a drum at some points in this story, I went through all the emotions, felt the hurts, the disappointment, the frustration with the characters.

I would definitely recommend STONED as an angsty rock star, second chance romance read, I loved it, although I could have slapped Stone round the head a few times but then the next moments he was so damn poetic and he made my heart melt along with his sexy swagger.

“Want you. Need you. Live you. Breathe you. I'm your rhythm, Birdie. Me.”

Looking forward to more in this series.

Loved this one! The story was told differently than most. Rather than give us background information on each character to fill the reader in, the author just started telling the story leaving the reader to wonder. I liked that it gave me a curiosity to keep going. It was like being a fly on the wall. Of course the needed background information was eventually given. The author just dove right in the story.

OMG … I abso-FREAKIN-lutely loved this book!!!!!

A lot of times when I review books, I put what I liked and disliked about them. Well folks I'm here to tell ya that this book is PERFECT and I loved every single thing about it. Well done, Mandi, well done.

Stone Lockhart, frontman for the band Wrecked and lover of watermelon lollies, totally screwed up when his long-time girlfriend, Willow, leaves him. And really, I can't blame her. Stone was the epitome of bad-boy-party-hard rocker with a weakness OMG … I abso-FREAKIN-lutely loved this book!!!!!

Stone Lockhart, frontman for the band Wrecked and lover of watermelon lollies, totally screwed up when his long-time girlfriend, Willow, leaves him. And really, I can't blame her. Stone was the epitome of bad-boy-party-hard rocker with a weakness for drugs, alcohol and women. I mean, when Stone was bad he was B-A-D. But it takes Willow leaving him for Stone to hit rock bottom (no pun intended). Stone accidently overdoses and sets his house on fire causing him to take a trip to rehab … and our story begins here …

So I started reading this book early one morning and I kept reading until I was finished. From the very first page, I was totally captivated. I will tell you that it deals with some issues that I normally do not like reading: cheating and love-triangle. The cheating is actually in the past when Stone was abusing drugs and alcohol so it wasn't that bad to read about. I could deal with the love triangle because as a reader I could tell that Willow's heart really wasn't into it and that she still loved Stone. There is a slight twist in the plot. If you pay close attention you will probably pick up on it (first hint is in the prologue).

A sober Stone was every girl's fantasy, or at least this girl's fantasy. I have honestly dreamed about a rocker like him. When I discovered this book I felt for certain that Mandi Beck had somehow managed to tap into my wicked little mind and pulled out my most favorite fantasy.

It's a long road for Willow and Stone to find one another again. It's a road paved with regret, sorrow, tears, love and forgiveness. There are also a lot of lollies along the way. Cudos to Mandi Beck for the watermelon lolli scene … that's one wicked imagination you have girlfriend … I give you a standing ovation for it!

Again, this book is amazing. If you're a fan of rocker romance as I am, I know that Stone and Willow's story will be one of your all-time favorites.
