Simple and charming, but I suspect that the dinosaur losing his battle with bedtime may have more parent appeal than it does for the child reader. My daughter didn't react as if it had a tragic ending, but she also didn't immediately say "Read it again!"

This was a huge hit at our Summer Reading Finale PJ Storytime. At least it was a huge hit with the kids, we had a few shriekers and I'm not sure how it went over with the adults.

Perfect for dinosaur-themed toddler time! The kids were roaring along with the dinosaur and cheering every time that "dinosaur...WINS!"
