Fanny Price is, perhaps, more like Jane Austen than Eliza Bennett ever hoped to be, but I sometimes think her piety is a bit much. I prefer the Bennett and Dashwood girls, as well as Anne Elliott and Emma Woodhouse. But Austen creates an interesting, albeit annoying, character in Aunt Norris. Edmund is perhaps my least favorite hero, but he makes Fanny happy, so who am I to complain....
