Non-spoiler review, but spoilers for A Game of Thrones.
A fantastic sequel. The stakes are much higher for each of the characters. With Ned Stark dead the Stark family is scattered and broken, while the Lannisters thrive with power and Stannis and Renly both claiming they are the rightful heir of the Iron Throne.

Choque de reyes nos vuelve a introducir en este mundo tan particular que crea Martin. Con puntos de vistas de otros dos personajes. Al igual que el anterior, es todo un placer leer las escrituras de este autor, con ese lenguaje tan característico de la época. Una lectura totalmente exquisita, aunque me gustó más "juego de tronos" por su contraste en este mundo fantástico, "choque de reyes" no deja de sorprender con la prosa que caracteriza a Martin, esta novela pone las bases de lo que esta por venir sin llegar a aburrir en ningún momento a pesar de que tengo preferencia por determinados personajes, cada capítulo es un mundo a explorar, una secuela que te hace digerir y sentir más real la historia que se desarrolla en cada página, las serie de HBO se
