OK FIRST GUILLERMO DEL TORO HAS TO ADAPT THIS BOOK INTO A FREAKING MOVIE. I WILL FIGHT FOR IT.

Basically, the eeriness and creepiness of Pan’s labyrinth + the romantic aspect of Crimson Peak (the sexiness and desperation aka the cool stuff)+ the plot of beauty and the beast = acotar

The writing, the characters, the way Maas plays with the initial plot of beauty and the beast … I loved everything.

Also, the word “ship” was created for Feyre and Tamlin.

What a ride. This was the first book I ever DNF'd but still considered it as Read and even gave it a ONE STAR! WILD! To this day, I remember that reading experience. I was frustrated. I was bored. Past me couldn't recognize a reading slump for what it was so this book took all that blame. Plus, I wasn't that big into Fantasy of Fantasy Romance so I really didn't know what to do with some of this things I was reading here. Oh my god how could I have just been ignoring and putting this wonderful read off for so long? I regret not reading this much sooner but I finally read it and I'm in love with this world.
