I WILL NEVER DOUBT CASSANDRA CLARE'S WRITING SKILLS AGAIN. this book was so unbelievably good I don't know what to do with myself I must immediately read the sequel.
I didn't think I'd like this book because the last few Clare books I've read haven't been the greatest so I put this book off for a year and I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WAS THINKING BECAUSE THIS WAS SO GOOD. Finally done with this book! I had a hard time keeping myself interested but I did it! It's your usual cassandra clare. I'm not particulary fond of any character. Might pick up Lord of shadows if only because I've read the whole TMI and TDA and I hear a lot of people really liking Julian in the second book. I need that cause I'm honestly more invested in literally every other character except Emma and Julian. We'll see.
