I read Harry Potter, at last. I have the feeling I'm taking part in a huge thing.
It's a nice one, of course! I liked the characters; the writing style is incredible; the plot is coherent (except a few things which are still a bit mysterious to me...). Some moments really made me emotional, especially the end.
I had already seen the movie, so I had the actors and actions in mind. It was not a specially good thing, because I had a lot of memories of the story, but anyway. ...more

How could I have forgotten what it was like to read the Harry Potter books? Despite the fact that there was a lot of sheer dumb luck involved in Harry's adventures & narrow escapes, it's still as flawless a read as it was the first time around :) Can't believe it took me this long to re-read the series!

THIS BOOK!
I loved it sooo much! Without a doubt, one of my favourite fantasy series! I'm kind of ashamed to admit that I couldn't guess the plot of a middle-grade novel, and seriously! What the heck was I reading all these years when the first book I should've read was this one!

This was my first time reading this book!
I know, I know...when I started to read Harry Potter I began on book 4 and till now never had picked up the first three books.
I really enjoyed, I mean it's Harry Potter so...liked to see how some things are diferent from the movie. I thought it was fast paced and a light read compared to the later books. Can't wait to pick up the 2nd and 3rd and re-read the last three.

J. K. Rowling really is a genius. This is a fun and exciting book that can be reread again and again. Harry Potter has been one of my favourite books for over 10 years and I can imagine it remaining so for a very, very long time.
