4.5 stars!
Took me ages to get into and wasn't really enjoying it but then BAM suddenly I couldn't put it down.
Loved how the story was from different characters points of views. Really helped me to get to know each character. I love Blue (and isn't that name the cutest?) and her family. And all the boys. Loved all the physic stuff and all the magic! So much happened that I didn't predict and completely blew my mind!
Can't wait to continue woohoo! (Can my books hurry up and arrive??)

pt. 1847293805 of me trying to catch up with all the community classics hELP

Before going into this I knew that it was a crowd favourite, I remember hearing people talk about these characters so much and thinking that I had to read this series. Well, it took a global pandemic and my friend lending me the books and providing some good ol' fashioned peer pressure for me to actually read it LOL.

After reading this book for two years, I finally finish reading it. And I left it halfway the last time I picked it up, and a year passed, and I decided to pick it up and finish it today, and wow, I surprisingly remember all the characters and the things that happened, which never happens before. I guess this book left a bigger impression on me than I thought.

So first off, I really enjoyed my time reading it, can't remember why I put it down, but when I pick it up again, I pushed myself to read After reading this book for two years, I finally finish reading it. And I left it halfway the last time I picked it up, and a year passed, and I decided to pick it up and finish it today, and wow, I surprisingly remember all the characters and the things that happened, which never happens before. I guess this book left a bigger impression on me than I thought.

So first off, I really enjoyed my time reading it, can't remember why I put it down, but when I pick it up again, I pushed myself to read it, and in a few hours, I'm done with it! It's really good, but the end where things start to reveal slowly, they blew my mind away, and I was not expecting any of the revelations.

Also, Adam Parrish, he makes me think of Shatter Me's Adam Kent, not sure why, but his 'aura' or maybe personality just reminds me of Adam Kent. And I already knew the ship was going to sail off a different direction, so maybe these two Adams just resonate with each other.

For this book, I wanted to give it 5/5 stars, but there's this thing about reading this book is that I kept zoning out of the world, like I would just be reading and picturing myself with them, and the next sentence, I'm out. And I get so lost with what's really happening, and the description of the scenes makes it harder to get back until there was some dialogues going on. (I don't know, it's really weird) And for this, I have to give it a 4.5 stars, not a major issue, but an issue that didn't stick well with me to give a full rating.

Overall, this book is just SO GOOD! Really wished I read through it in like a shorter period of time, instead of 2 years... Welp haha! I might read it again before I read the second book in the series, because I will definitely forget some of the details at the beginning, considering how I didn't read all in one go today. And I'm definitely not going to pick the next book up for now, just feel like reading something else. Again, 4.5 stars! ...more

I really liked this a lot better than I expected. Each chapter ended in like a cliffhanger it was hard to put down. I will admit the first half THE ENTIRE 200 PAGES was soooo slow. Literally nothing happens until the last 200 pages. This book was a lot more sinister and dense than I thought, which I really enjoyed. It was pretty confusing though at some parts I had to reread chapters grasp what is going on sometimes. I often got Ronan confused with the other guys ooooops Anyway I really want to ...more
