What Members Thought

Falling Kingdoms is what’s described as the YA version of Game of Thrones, and I have to agree! This had the same vibe, a wide cast of characters, a willingness to kill off it’s main characters and even a little bit of incest. I can’t really say that there was anything wrong with it-but it just didn’t wow me.
I loved that I found it easy to keep track of who was who and which nation was which, despite there being so many. I liked the magic aspect, I LOVED the writing! It was so easy to get throug ...more

*3.5* stars
This book was so much fun.
I read this book in a couple of sittings because every time I picked it up I was inmediately inmersed in the story.
For a book with such a huge cast of characters I didn't have any problem following the story and telling the characters apart, though none of them were particularly interesting or made me feel any connection to them, which made me lower my rating. SOSOSOOSOSO GOOD. AMAZINGLY AMAZING.
This book was amazing absolutist great. Above 5 star rating for sure more like 1000/5 stars.
I loved this book so much I am still thinking about it after 2 days of finishing it. I loved the world and world building in this book to the extent. I absolutely loved that magic was involved too. Who doesn't love magic? Also I loved the realness of the characters. Morgan Rhodes does not sugar coat some ones death. She takes the whole 'fictional characters always die' ...more

Liked the concept and that you got all the sides of the story etc but didn't particularly like any of the characters, main or otherwise. Cringed most of the way through because of the insta love and the super simple writing but eh it was okay

This book took me so long to get into, I'm not really into fantasy.... Bloody and gory is great but this book is just so slow and the writing wasn't my thing. Hmm.
