This was a very good book. Of course I loved Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, so I had to pick this one up too.

Grace Lin did not disappoint, however if I had to choose I think Where the Mountain Meets the Moon was better. This book was still wonderful. I always enjoy Chinese folklore and that is what draws me to these books.

LIke Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, this book is a work of art. I love that the novel has such wonderful artwork along with the many folktales sprinkled throughout.

Similar to Where the Mountain Meets the Moon but I enjoyed this one more. Great child protagonist, entertaining story & meaningful for children and adults. This one might have a chance.
