I absolutely loved this book! It's complex, exciting, and fabulously written. It and it's sequel will definitely appeal to tween boy readers looking for a solid fantasy adventure and an extremely likeable hero. Highly recommended!

I think I’ll be fin

Have been trying to bill this as a Hunger games or Maze Runner approach to fantasy- punchy narrator inside a political conspiracy -- but I don't think they will bite, I enjoyed what I read of it, but I am not particularly inclined to finish. One of my kids said, "Good until the end."
