This was another really great book by Mull. I will say though that I thought book 3 was better. This one had more fight scenes and I am not a lover of fantasy fight scenes. However, the story kept going at a pretty good pace and just as before it was not predictable. Can't wait to read the last one!

In my opinion, this is the best book of the series--with a great twist at then end! I love how the characters are growing up, and I cannot wait for #5.
This is definitely one of my favorite series ever. The books keep getting better and better. Way fun.
I actually have enjoyed reading as Mull becomes a better author. The plot twists are so fun. I can't tell you how many times in this book I went back and forth on thinking Vanessa was good or bad.
ps I would recommend reading this one right after #3 because some of the details of #3 are gone over at the end of #4 and it was hard to connect the dots. ...more
