Twelve-year-old Jade has been sent to Wyoming to spend the summer with her aunt who runs a canine boarding business. Aunt Elise gave up her high-pressure job with a law firm back in Philadelphia for a different kind of life in the West. Jade is a city girl and she does not want to go visit her Aunt in Wyoming all summer. However, there is one bright spot, she meets Roy aka. Butch Cassidy. He is upset that his Dad's hardware store is going out of business, mostly due to the big chain hardware store that opened down the street. Roy will stop at nothing to get back at Mr. Farley, and get his Dad's hardware store open again. This means Roy does mean things to Farley's business, and even plans on stealing items from Farley's house.

3.5 stars. Cute story. I didn't fully connect with the characters the way I was hoping I would. They didn't feel entirely authentic.

This is a pleasant little book. It's not going to win any major book awards (I think) but it was a fun, quick read.

This left me with such a warm feeling after finishing the last page. Clearly it's time to visit Wyoming and see those wonderful skies.

Okay. Easy to put down and then pick up. Wonderful descriptions of Wyoming. Good characters.
I just got a little bit bored with this near the end.
