6.0 stars. A very satisfying end to one of the best fanasy series ever. As much as the coda may have flown in the face of the typical "happy ending" I loved it and think it was a terrific way to go out.

Whew, I did it. All the way. Not quitsees, even on the last Coda. So. Much. Happens. Brilliant stuff, Sai King, just brilliant. I feel like I've lived another life.

For the record, great ending. It's what the story required.

A nice ending to this long fantasy saga. I did have some problems getting into the book since I had taken so long between reading the previous book and this one but after about a quarter in, and the whole Mia arc was completed, the plot really started to perk along. I thought the ending was very apt especially for Roland though had a few quibbles with some other parts. I am giving the book two stars and it is not for the ending. I did liked how the story ended (well, not THAT much). I give it 2 stars for the story in this book as a whole. Even King at some point, he is a character now, says this story is bad. It took me a month to read it, having to stop to read something else due to the frustration I felt with how it was written, and having to see King in the story.
