I think I read the synopsis of this book too quickly and somehow had the impression it would be a kids/ya book similar to Iron Giant. What a weird expectation, and I'm glad I was wrong. This was interesting - the entire book is conducted through interviews and most of it involves the finding and how to use a giant robot. Perhaps that description sounds silly, but it wasn't a silly book. I'd call it mystery, thriller science fiction, and it certainly kept me wondering why? and what happens next?

3 Stars for Entertaining Story

If you are interested in reading the short stories, I recommend reading File N°002 after reading this book. It's more entertaining that way because you'll have more of a reference to bounce your reaction on the short. ...more

VERDICT: Very suspenseful science-fiction novel, with a unique writing style in the form of Q&A. And it works beautifully!
