What Members Thought
Tricia Levenseller has a way of making me want to finish her books in one sitting. I started this book, not intending to finish it that day, but that's exactly what happened. Her compelling characters just made me want to keep going! I can't wait to start the next book, which I'm sure I will finish the same day I start it.

I gave the first seven chapters a shot, then decided I had better uses for my time.
3.5. I really really wanted to love this book. I just couldn't. It took about half the book to build up to the story. Then, when you hit the middle of the book, it completely change course. I'm going to avoid spoilers, but there was literally almost no foreshadowing to this big reveal. So, it seemed out of the blue, and not connected to the story. It seemed the author was trying to get to a point and make it exciting but to me this story just seemed flat.
