I rated this book five stars because I enjoyed it. Not because I think this is the best book written in the last decade, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. I noticed that quite a few people disliked this story because it raised too many questions (and in most cases, didn't answer them), the love story bits were overly cliche, or over the top in a few areas. I don't mean to discredit other people's opinions. I'm just here to say that this book is one of the most refreshing stories I've read in a long while. The story doesn't end on the note I thought it was headed towards, and I was teary eyed as I closed the book. But the story did end well. I knew it couldn't end happily ever after, and if it had, I would have been even more upset.
