I enjoyed this book, but a bit too much time was spent building the romance when it had already been properly introduced. The serious elements of the story were there from the beginning as hints that were somewhat subtle, but the turning point on that part of the story came too late. Eleanor & Park was a romance story for too much of the book to have it suddenly turn to extremely serious matters. Ahh I feel like the ending is hanging or like, there should be a sequel where both of them meet again like after 12 years or so? Why does the girl have to act that way??? Really. I don't get it and I feel really sad for Park but again, those 3 long words, that must have really made the lad happy. I still could feel it.
