Though I wasn't sure when I started it (thought it was just another book about accepting your sexuality), I loved this book and became very invested in the characters.
The book is told from two perspectives: Noah at age 14 (from the past leading up to 'it') and Jude at age 16 (after 'it' has happened). They are twins, and for a long time, you are not sure what 'it' is---and it wasn't predictable until near the end...and then I *had* to know how it would turn out.

It took me awhile to really get into I'll Give You the Sun. Once I was about halfway through the book, the story seemed to draw me in. I flew through the second half, and I was pleased with the ending. Nelson has an incredibly creative mind and style of writing. It was unique and at times hard to follow, but I enjoyed it.
