What Members Thought
This has an intriguing premise and I'm always on board for a story with a quest. The author builds a whole new world, with fantastical creatures like sea serpents and various fae and half fae characters. I did feel like the book was a bit long and could have been cut down somewhat. The first half didn't have a lot of action and was mostly the main character pining for a guy that barely cared for her. Luckily, the second half introduced a new character that I really liked and had some excitement.

DNFed at 52%. I experienced the first smut scene and I could no longer continue reading. The plot was interesting enough so I might look up what happens but I can't get through more of that kind of smut. The writing was TERRIBLE and so off-putting. Am very glad that I read this before buying the special editions of the series

I started this book on a whim, and now I’m obsessed.
The world building is a little confusing at first, but once you hit the 15-20% mark, it’s so hard to put down.
Love love love this story and I need to know what happens next!
Fallon is a great main character, and I can already see her potential for growth.
Also love the found family! Her friends are so such gems!
