I don't know what I was expecting from this book. This is actually only my second memoir. But this book was powerful! I did not know that Jennette McCurdy went through so much abuse from her mother, but I love how this book talks about what she went through and how she shared her story for others.

I finished this is two nights but forgot to mark this as read.

This book was an experience. I’m having a hard to forming words to express how good and how heart wrenching reading this was. Jennette McCurdy told her story and she told it beautifully. I wish her nothing but the best and successful and long lived recovery.

This was a great autobiography, at times difficult to read. I am not really familiar with Nickelodeon TV shows, but if anything, she is a very talented writer.
I hope she finds her true passion and heal!
