Why have I been waiting to read this?? It was amazing, so intense and exciting and I truly had no idea who the killer was. I didn't want to stop listening for a second, I had to know what twist would happen next. I truly loved every bit of this and I'll be jumping into the sequel very soon!

I listened to the audiobook for this and I highly recommend it. There's a full cast narration that brings the story to life and gives it a true crime feel. I love when books go in for the audio like that and I

I've had this one for a while (I think it was a 'bookstagram-made-me-buy-it' purchase) but only finally got round to reading it now. Really enjoyed it! I thought the writing was excellent, particularly the pacing: there wasn't a moment where I felt the story sagged. The multiple suspects kept everything exciting, and made it complicated enough for me to just want to keep reading!

So, in this book, you'll meet Pip(pa) Fitz-Amobi. Five years prior to the story starting, an older student, Andie Bell

I got into the mystery of the book right away. Sal Singh was "convicted" of murdering his girlfriend Andie Bell five years previously. But there's a problem...Andie's body was never found and Sal's guilty conviction was only in the minds of those who thought him guilty. Pippa Fitz-Amobi decides to investigate Andie's murder for her senior project and as she begins to do so, she finds some contradicting information. Eventually, she isn't so sure of Sal's guilt. There became quite a few suspects i ...more

This is a book I have picked up time and time again at the library, debuting if I should read it. When a couple of friends said they were going to read it, I took this as a sign to finally pick the book up and join them and thank goodness I did. I had a good time.

For a school project, Pippa looks into a closed local case. 5 years ago, Andie Bell disappeared and her boyfriend, Sal, killed her before killing himself. At least, that is the story, but Pippa doesn’t believe that. The dee

Readable, fun, and relatable. It was a page turner. I was still prepared to give 3-4 stars because I’m an adult reading a YA novel. But, the ending made me cry. Perhaps an emotional state of mind could be the culprit. However, it just is a well done story.

This book was well written and I enjoyed the storytelling. If you like crime podcasts, you will likely like this book. I don't plan to continue the series but I enjoyed this while I read it. ...more
