A mystery story in which I liked the characters as much as the case being investigated.
Pippa, in particular was very likeable and her family even more so. Loved how comfortable they were with each other and the relationship she shared with her parents.

A fun YA mystery/thriller and a great debut novel. I had a good time with this one and really liked the audiobook.
The protagonist is fun and smart and I quite liked her. The majority of the story felt believable and the tension was pretty well managed throughout the story. I did guess the majority of the ending pretty early on in the book, but there were a lot of red herrings that had me mildly questioning my assumptions. I liked the writing style and found it engaging without being t ...more

There's something I find so easy and simple to follow with YA mysteries, and for that reason they make good audios. I'm so glad some mysteries made it into the YA Fiction genre as nominees. I probably won't be continuing this series, but it definitely did take some exciting twists and turns. It didn't end quite as I thought it would, but it definitely ended realistically, which I appreciated. I like how the romance was just hinted at, it didn't take over the forefront of the story.
