Emily Henry is always a slump buster for me. Her writing feels so effortless and yet conveys so much. Her characters are always great and the stories she creates feel like something new every time. I loved Harriet as a character. She was very real to me and there were a lot of things in her that I could align with myself. Emily Henry just has a way of creating characters who make me feel seen. Like Henry's other books there is a lot of character development/personal growth and big feelz.
This one has a lot about friendship and found family.

I have really grown to really enjoy Emily Henry's books. This was no exception.
The story is told entirely from Harriet's pov, but it's not just about her. It's about the entire group of friends and how their relationship grew and changed as a group and as couples (because over the years they have paired up). Overall though it's about Harriet having to deal with Wyn after they broke up months ago and telling everyone the truth.
