A standard Agatha Christie mystery, Murder on the Orient Express revolves around.. you guessed, a murder on the Orient Express. But have no fear, esteemed detective Hercule Poirot is abroad the train and takes it upon himself to solve the murder!

I really enjoyed this book. There's just something about an isolated location, a mysterious murder and a cast of unlikeable people that makes for a great mystery thriller! This may be my favourite Agatha Christie book to date (after ashamedly struggl

I own this book.

Murder on the Orient Express is one of those books I have always been aware of, but I've never actually read or seen in any form of media. My knowledge of Poirot is fairly extensive I would claim after growing up watching the David Suchet adaptions for most of my life, but this one always seemed to escape me. I know there was the recent Kenneth Branagh movie so I thought I'd grab it when I came across it in a charity shop. This tale follows Poirot as he returns to London from

Murder on the Orient Express features an intriguing mystery and I likely would have enjoyed the book more had I not already known the mystery’s outcome.

Stranded after a snowdrift blocks their path, the passengers of the Orient Express are prepared for a few days of unpleasantness. But when a passenger is found murdered in his compartment, stabbed a dozen times with the door locked from the inside, that unpleasantness reaches an entirely new level. With famous detective Hercule Poirot among those

This was a very exciting excellently written, gripping read. It was my first Agatha Christie read but will by no means be my last as I look forward to reading more books in this series as well as her other series'.

This book is based on the investigation of a murder on a stranded train. The suspect pool is limited to the twelve passengers on board the train but with each of them having deep secrets which Poirot uncovers one by one. But the ending is shocking and the killer/ killers may have escap

I remember seeing the trailer for this and deciding to leave it at that. I regret that so much because this was an amazing read. I loved every single moment of it, I have no idea how the author was able to create this story with so many moving pieces and have it still make sense. Plus, I tend to get bored if a mystery is too easy. Luckily, this one was anything but because I definitely did not figure it out before we got to the ending. Immediately after reading this, I rented the movie on Youtub ...more
