Another super cute summer read from Henry! This one is all about books and I loved it. Being an agent or editor and getting to read books for work is a dream I have and I'm so jealous of Norah and Charlie. I especially liked seeing them get excited about a story, as I imagine that you might burn out on not so great reads.
Norah and Charlie are pseudo enemies, they don't actually compete in the workplace but she's mad that he turned down a book she was pushing and thinks he's a jerk. In actuality ...more

I read Book Lovers as part of a group read, I probably wouldn't have picked it otherwise. Romance isn't my genre, and it looked a bit lightweight for my taste but I thought I'd give it a go.

I enjoyed this book. I liked the story and characters and found it very entertaining. Overall, it is a nice contemporary romance. The only thing is that it didn’t gripped me emotionally to really like it.

I absolutely ADORED this book. This is the first book by this author that I could not put down. I loved the small town feels of this book, and loved Nora and Charlie’s characters. I laughed and I lost certainly cried, which I was not expecting. Although my personality very much aligns with that of Libby’s character. I love love loved this book!

Warm, endearing, sometimes shockingly funny, often sickeningly emo, and predictable in the sweetest of ways. Such a perfect concoction for a lazy romantic read, on a cool evening, curled up in a duvet, as rain pours softly on the window sill. Oddly specific but true.
And there's a lot to unpack here because even if this felt like a very formulaic generic love story (don't all of them?), with a very gentle execution, it works.
Probably because the humor was as stupid as I like mine to be. And che ...more
