This was definitely better than the first. Loved how much darker this one was!
Kingdom of the Cursed brings Emilia to Hell. She has agreed to marry the Devil in order to find out what happened to her sister and protect her family. But the more Emilia learns about her heritage, the more she doubts the deal she made with Wrath.

This book is packed full of new information, new characters, betrayal, and revelations. It flew by for me because I felt like I was just trying to keep up with everything that was going on and I loved it. Wrath and Emilia really step up their relationship and the tension between them is delicious. I can't wait to see more of them in the sequel!

Talk about a book hangover! I do not know if my heart can make it until 2022! WHAT HAPPENS!?!
Aside from the ultimate cliffhanger, this book has been a wild ride. Emilia seems to have grown into herself, or at least the person she was always meant to be. Wrath is just as swoon-worthy as ever. The "will they or won't they" is still there. I do not know how Kerri has done it, but this is the slowest burn EVER, and I am here for it.

I like the story, but I think the romance (if you really want to call it that) overshadows everything. Emilia is an ok character, but she has the maturity of a 14 year girl at her first high school dance trying to get with a boy she likes. In other words she acts a bit stupid and airheaded. Why a gazillion year old demon thinks that this 17 year old girl is all that and a bag of chips is confusing.. With all the "I think I'm gonna sex her/him up, you begin to lose sight of why Emilia sold her s
