Just wow! I'm not okay! This was everything I could have wanted in an epic vampire fantasy.
I went into this with HIGH expectations, so high I was a bit worried I had ruined it for myself, but this not only met those expectations, but surpassed them. This book had me so immersed that I was getting emotional over things I knew were going to happen or be revealed, regardless of being aware of them in advance.

Re-read
I am so happy that I chose to re-read the first book before picking up the second (I was lucky enough to get an ARC via Netgalley). I listened to the audiobook and this time around, I feel like I enjoyed the middle and ending even more than the first time around. It's been two years since I first read it and I had forgotten a lot that happened. I'm excited to see what comes next.

This was one of the best books I have read all year it really lived up to every bit of hype that I heard about it. I loved all of the characters so much there were so many well written and well developed characters here to read about but I loved Gabriel and Dior the most Gabriel told the story wonderfully and told everything how it is and did not mince words he is a very blunt most of the time character that I just loved reading about.
