I think this is a 3.5 for me....
I'm still feeling very conflicted on how I felt about this story. The thing that kept me going was how much I loved Evelyn as a character. I was interested enough in her story to see how things would transpire. However, there are a couple things I didn't love regarding the choices for certain character's story lines and the writing style itself. It read almost too much like an autobiography for me, which I know is the point, but I don't know...

This is a fascinating and intriguing read. Evelyn is a character that stays with you, and one you will miss. You will get angry, exasperated, and cry for and with her. She is an amazing story that you get enthralled with. I found times where I was having to grab some tissue. So glad I picked this one up. So sad it is finished, this is one you wish would go on forever.

I didn't like the main character at all. She was too superficial for me, and only cared about getting rich and famous. She uses people and doesn't care who she hurts to get what she wants. She changes who she is just to please society and those who are using her.
