This was my first buddy read! Thank you Amanda for suggesting this book and making me put it on top of my TBR pile.
What a great story with great characters.
I loved the banter and the jokes made me laugh out loud. The author was particularly good at creating an image in your mind of what was happening on the page. I have a book crush on Alex now obviously!!!
I am not very into RomComs because they all follow the same path, but this was very good.

I liked this book way better than Beach Read. It had the rom-com vibes that I wish Beach Read had, had and it also wasn't heavy. It was the right amount of light fluff that I wanted with some mild angst thrown in all throughout. It was also a book that I think is really good to read around summertime as the summer vibes are strong since this is mostly about Vacations between two friends. Alex was def my fave character in this book though while Poppy had me face palming a lot. In t ...more

It's a cliche romance, nothing new or original, or nothing that stands out. Like the cover, that looks like every other romance novel. Why did I read it then?
