What Members Thought

Second time reading and reviewing: not sure if it’s life or listening to it vs reading but so so good! The drop scene kills and rebuilds me so much more than the first time. Stupid wonderful emotion. Maas does it again with characters and twists and all the things that not only makes this story but pulls us forward. Can’t wait for book 2!

Objectively speaking, the book is more of a 2 star but it made me cried 3 times (I don't think I've ever cried so much from reading) so this book would at the least be 3.
The story was slow at the beginning and can be hard to get through with info dumps but picked up after 20% mark. Towards the middle of the story it was mostly them going in circles trying to solve the mystery, which lent itself to multiple pointless scenes and made the book so long.
