I am so glad I jumped into this! I was hesitant because of the length and I've seen reviews saying it drags for a while, but I thought it flew by and it kept me engaged throughout the story. It probably helped that I listened to the audiobook, which I highly recommend because the narrator is great and it helped me sink into the world.

Second time reading and reviewing: not sure if it’s life or listening to it vs reading but so so good! The drop scene kills and rebuilds me so much more than the first time. Stupid wonderful emotion. Maas does it again with characters and twists and all the things that not only makes this story but pulls us forward. Can’t wait for book 2!

There was so much happening in this book honeslty will require a re-read at some point. With that being said the author did a great job of building the world and giving us a good plot. I really liked Bryce's determination.
