Winterwood tells the story of Nora Walker, a magic-touched girl who finds an impossible boy in an impossible forest. The mystery of who Oliver is and how Nora came to find him only deepens as she learns more about who he is, where he came from, and what's happened to him.

Winterwood felt fresh and original, unlike most of the books I've read before. I loved the author's writing style and world-building, and especially how deftly she wove nature and magic together to create a haunting tale. I did ...more
