Cath may be the most selfish fangirl. This whole book is all about her, her, her, her, her, her, her when it comes to fandom.

I am not a huge "fandom" person. I've never been to a midnight release for anything, I've never tried writing fanfiction, and the only fandom that I've been in that lasted longer than a few months was sports fandoms. I adored this book.

Adored.

Cath was such a brilliant character and you can really see her development throughout this book, she really endorsed the fangirl culture that we all know and love and I love how Rainbow Rowell didn't make it creepy or awkward, she caught how much a film or a book or a TV show can mean to person.

I really, really enjoyed this book... It was everything I wanted it to be...
Lots of love for the Fan-dom community - one that I must admit I don't venture into often if ever. Especially about books I fan girl over my super hero's like Robert Downey JR and I have no shame to admit that, I have a purely 18+ reason for that...

I love everyone in this book, there was such mega feels at the start, I think mostly everyone that is shy and nerdy can relate at least a little to what Cath goes through at I really, really enjoyed this book... It was everything I wanted it to be...

I love everyone in this book, there was such mega feels at the start, I think mostly everyone that is shy and nerdy can relate at least a little to what Cath goes through at the start of her college life. I was similar, except I was that girl at the sinks wanting to make friends but I was Cath in terms of I sucked at it, I was so nervous and scared I spent pretty much 80% of my first two weeks trying to be Wren, and then reverting into my Cath-ness and being lonely.

I was so frustrated by how Cath just wouldn't write something herself, she had to write fan-fiction stories, which are great I'm sure. I just wanted her to be more, to be amazing but she kept shrinking back and hiding herself. Wren was so aggravating, as an only child I was just annoyed that Wren didn't want to be with her sister as much as I think I would want to be. It was like she didn't want a twin, now I don't know about anyone else but I always secretly wanted a twin and would imagine myself with one as a kid. I feel like Wren is the typical angry teen that is just so mad at the world they do something that is easy for teens to do, easier than it should be - they drink. She was just such a mess and it was so heart breaking but also so maddening. She has so many chances, and is in some ways more interesting than Cath... I'd love to read a story told with her side of it... hint, hint major hint because I don't like spin off's - ever..

I love Cath's room mate she is so funny, and sarcastic and it helps to bring a bit of 'grit' into the book instead of sweetness that Cath does give off, it isn't all about Cath it's about them all and I feel that Reagan, is probably my favourite, it was kind of worth reading through all the sadness for her little witty comments and it was making me feel better never mind Cath!

I've heard good things about 'Carry on' which I know is talked about in a different perspective in this book, so I'll probably go and pick that up.. For a first read by the author I loved it.. ...more

I'd previously read (and loved) Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell, but I was still rather iffy as to whether or not I'd read it. It just didn't seem to really catch me at all. But I decided to give it a shot for the 2018 Popsugar Reading Challenge (for the twin prompt) and I am so glad I did.

The book was absolutely incredible from start to finish; realistic and beautiful in all manner of ways and really relatable regardless of whether or not you're a "fangirl" and/or introvert.

The development of I'd previously read (and loved) Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell, but I was still rather iffy as to whether or not I'd read it. It just didn't seem to really catch me at all. But I decided to give it a shot for the 2018 Popsugar Reading Challenge (for the twin prompt) and I am so glad I did.

The book was absolutely incredible from start to finish; realistic and beautiful in all manner of ways and really relatable regardless of whether or not you're a "fangirl" and/or introvert.

The development of the relationship between Cath and (view spoiler) was brilliant from strt to finish and I loved how it had the typical ups and downs of any budding crush or relationship and progressed in a really natural way. (view spoiler) was clearly a brilliant guy and a seemingly perfect match for Cath, as an equal partner (view spoiler), a friend, and a romantic partner.

Wren irritated me a LOT throughout this novel and I just couldn't really connect with her. I never really clicked with how she went from being the "outgoing twin" to the "drunken and potentially drugged moron that probably can't remember most of her semester". While she did EVENTUALLY improve, it frustrated me to no end that (view spoiler) On the bright side though, (view spoiler) seemed to be good for her, and I had high hopes for that relationship.

I do wish that there was more to the story after Cath (view spoiler), that offered a bit more closure and an ending to her fanfic (view spoiler) but overall, I'm really happy with how this novel went and I really enjoyed my time reading it. ...more

This is the third book I read by Miss Rowell and I completely enjoyed it. It's romantic scenes are a little gaudy and phony.

Levy says I like you a lot; a lot.
And the description of is jaw and hair take a lot of the scene.

This book was just adorable. I loved Fangirl as much as Eleanor and Park. The reason why I am a Fangirl of Rainbow Rowell (you see what I did there LOL) because first of all look at her name she is full of rainbows, and second she is the queen of contemporary. She writes romance very well. She has definitely won millions of hearts by just writing.
