I only had one major issue with this book, that was being able to keep up with the different narrators of the sections as they changed. The characters were so well written and developed I felt as if I was one of them myself. Every twist and turn I was holding my breath trying to figure out what was going to happen next. I absolutely fell in love with Cassie and Sammy's characters and I couldn't have completed this journey without them both! Thank heavens I gave this book ...more

I won't lie, I didn't expect very much from this book. I'm always very weary of hyped books as I tend to be more disappointed than I am impressed by them, but this book was shockingly brilliant. Aliens aren't something that I've ever explored in YA, and this book approached the genre with something really interesting and unique.

This was so so good. I mean really.. Wow.
... And that's what you do when the curtain is falling - you give the line that the audience wants to hear.
I loved this book and I will definitely be reading the others. I don't know what I was expecting from this book because of the very mixed reviews I had been seeing. However this was so much better than the hype. I'm a very emotional reader. I always have been and I always will be. Therefore there are certain things that pull at my heartstrings. No ...more

In someway the plots were predictable because I'd already figured out who were humans and who weren't. But there were a couple plots I didn't see it coming. I can't exactly tell you which plot I didn't see it coming because that'd spoil the book, which is exactly ...more
