I actually intended to read this bookthree years ago and finally had the chance to pick it up when I couldn't find anything to read. I'm glad I picked this book up for the sense of mini adventure and 'finding the clues' was quite fun. I really loved the characters in this book because they were humorous and amazing in their own way.

I would like to say this first and foremost: Everyone seems to praise the bookshelves that a John Green book is placed on. Well most avid book readers do... even non-avid book readers. I only particpate in this hoopla about a quarter of the time. I have noticed that all of his books that a have a male main character are sooo completely enthralled with this one girl.To be honest I have only read Paper Towns and Looking for Alaska where theres a male main character but they both seemed pretty simi

When I bought this book, I expected the Green legacy to live on and for the book to be absolutely life-changing and amazing. However, I believe my expectations were a pinch too high.
I enjoyed this book. I really did. What I wrote at the top may have misleaded you, but I did enjoy this book. I laughed A LOT. first time read: somewhere around 2012-2013
I reread this before I saw the movie and I liked it even more now I truly get the message of this book.
