Starting, I expected much more from this book, I went to it because of the book tube hype and expected this adventurous book that would suck me right into it and I'll relate to the main character.

But no, it wasn't the rainbow and unicorns. Emily, the female protagonist, was absolutely annoying, so talkative, I had struggled reading a bunch whole of her non sense rambling.

One of the best characters, was Beckett, Emily's perfect little brother, like that dude was perfect. Literally, he is 'the'

Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson

In a well ordered universe girls would read this book every summer right before school starts back up.

This book was adorable. I enjoyed the way this book was written and I will most definitely will be picking up another book by this author. However, there were some mistakes along they way. I felt that the book didn't full closer on some of the main characters or enough background. Otherwise I would recommend this book for a light summer read.

This book was amazing! took me awhile to read it cus it was so big but I loved all the characters especially Frank. He was my favorite.

The idea of the book with the friend disappearing and mailing a list to Emily was unique. I got so frustrated with Emily but by the end of the book I came to understand her better and like her. Her brother Beckett was a little cutie pie and I wished there was more of him in the story but I know it wasn't about him.

The feelings I got from the book was all...I lau

This book was a good read, but unfortunately it wasn't as great as I was expecting it to be. Matson's writing was fantastic as always, but this book may have been a little over hyped for me.
There were a few characters that I didn't particularly like (Sloane, Collins and Lissa) and I also felt that the plot of this book just wasn't as enjoyable as her other books (Second Chance Summer in particular, which I absolutely loved).

4/5 stars.
I prefer Amy and Roger's Epic Detour but Matson can write a perfect contemporary. Only thing is didn't ship the main couple a great deal until right at the end.
