Starting, I expected much more from this book, I went to it because of the book tube hype and expected this adventurous book that would suck me right into it and I'll relate to the main character.
But no, it wasn't the rainbow and unicorns. Emily, the female protagonist, was absolutely annoying, so talkative, I had struggled reading a bunch whole of her non sense rambling.

This book wasn't my favorite but it was decent in my perspective. I feel like it was a good but not great contemporary and that might only be because I just finished a big action packed book, but the story kind of dragged on a little for me. I would recommend this book if you are looking for a big summer adventure/bucket list/scavenger hunt esque type of book.

In a well ordered universe girls would read this book every summer right before school starts back up.
This book was adorable. I enjoyed the way this book was written and I will most definitely will be picking up another book by this author. However, there were some mistakes along they way. I felt that the book didn't full closer on some of the main characters or enough background. Otherwise I would recommend this book for a light summer read.

This book was a good read, but unfortunately it wasn't as great as I was expecting it to be. Matson's writing was fantastic as always, but this book may have been a little over hyped for me.
There were a few characters that I didn't particularly like (Sloane, Collins and Lissa) and I also felt that the plot of this book just wasn't as enjoyable as her other books (Second Chance Summer in particular, which I absolutely loved). ...more

The more I read this book, the more I am really enjoying it. The main character Emily irritated me at first, but I'm really beginning to enjoy her progress as the book goes on

4/5 stars.
I prefer Amy and Roger's Epic Detour but Matson can write a perfect contemporary. Only thing is didn't ship the main couple a great deal until right at the end. ...more
