I loved this book! It was the perfect Sping/Summer read. I previously read Amy & Roger's Epic Detour and enjoyed that one so much that I had predicted I'd love this one as well. This entire book takes place over a summer break and gives you a summer vibe the whole way through.

This was a cute story and I feel like summer is already here. I really liked the story and the characters. I loved that there was no insta love and that there was not too much drama. I will definitely read more of Morgan Matson.

since you've been gone is a book about a girl named Emily who's best friend just disappears one summer leaving behind a list of things for Emily to complete. it is a good contemporary book, easy to read and fast paced. however, i was expecting so much more since it has been getting incredible ratings. Don't get me wrong i still really enjoyed it i just don't think this book is a 5/5 book. overall, i found myself connecting with Emily more towards the end and i liked how the story progresses ...more

I loved everything about this book!!! Morgan Mattson makes the storyline and the characters just so real. She also developed the characters nicely and made the love story fit into the novel without it being overwhelming. If you like contemporaries give this book a try

This was a great summer read. I really enjoyed all of the relationship developments and story structure. A wonderful story of friendship and self discovery.
There were a lot of loose ends...
