Reread 2019: I liked seeing all the missing details from the first two times I read this, like about Amaranth and her back story, I feel like I payed more attention to these details. I also loved when Rysand ran into Feyre, and his comment about finally meeting her. Can’t wait to continue and finally get to ACOWAR!

I picked up so much more on this reread and I frankly believe that SJM did some characters wrong going forward.

This book had a lot of issues for me. I think there are plenty of people that explain precisely the issues I have. Honestly, I only gave this book 2 stars because of Rhysand and Lucian. I absolutely loved these two characters, but the rest of the characters were rather flat. I barely liked Feyre, and she's the mc. Also, the evil fae wasn't as bad as she was described. Really, a riddle? That's the best you can do? It's very frustrating, but those two characters are the only reason I would continu ...more

Reread; November/December 2020.
As much as I still really enjoyed it the second time round, don't think it was on the same level the first time.
