Absolutely loved this book. Most royal books I’ve read have been about a prince. So this being with a princess was a wonderful change of pace for me. The story was great and I loved the main characters!!

So many swoony moments! While this is a stand alone, there are some interconnecting characters from a few other books by this author. The Crow brothers get mentioned, as well as Ethan Everett, so it's really a family affair. :) Meeting in a pub, there was an instant attraction, unfortunately, it was never meant to be more. Oh my. Hutton and Ally are beyond fabulous. I couldn't get enough of these two. Hutton is just so swoon worthy. I love how he never gives up on Ally even after finding out her secret. Ally is simply wonderful. Even knowing what her future holds, I love how she rebels just a little. She is the strength the crown needs. I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Ally Edwards and Hutton Everest. There is just something about their connection that neither can deny. There is more going on though that they just can't seem to say to one another. They know if the truth every comes out it could break them apart forever. Great read

While not a favorite of mine that is purely because of my taste rather than anything to do with the book. I'm not a fan of "Royals" stories so I should have read the blurb more closely. Fact is I love this author and she's an auto read for me.

That said this book is very well done. Button and Ally are amazing with wonderful depth and complexity. Writing and storyline are superb with a nice pace. Definitely a book I would recommend. ...more
