Besides Solace, Jason just needed Faith and a reason to stay!
I love when this happens: when I finish a book and find myself speechless, in awe, still swooning and having a hard time to write a review and start a new book. It's when I can't seem to say goodbye!
That's exactly how I'm feeling right now! Jason and Delilah were everything! They were so in synk, so connected, their chemistry was amazing and their feelings were raw, pungent, real and so so real!

Oh my goodness. I was so happy to know that Jason was getting his own book after reading about him in Savage and Savior. I was curious about him and wasn't ready to say goodbye to him just yet. This story was so beautifully written by Suzy. It was perfect with tiny parts where you see his past come to play and make you smile knowing it worls so well with the story. He found his reason to stay. 💙

If you have read the Kingwood Duet then you will have met Jason aka Eric then and I will be honest and say he peeked my interest in that book so I was happy when I realised this book was his.
This is a beautiful second chance romance which you will devour like me in one sitting on a Sunday morning. This book shows that fate sometimes has the way to take you to the right destination even if you have to take some detours along the way.

*Sighs* I fall for every single main male character that Suzie gives us with her books. I say every time, "SO & SO is mine!" Well ladies, I know a few of you have already stake claim since the Kingwood Duet books, but I need to stake claim too. I <3 Jason. I love love love him. He is not what I expected when we first met him. I understand so much more now why he was the way he was in the previous books. (I know I am being vague, but I do not want to put spoilers in my review.) Jason Koster was a

S.L. Scott has written a small-town second-chance romance to make everyone swoon. I was no exception--the Prologue drew me in for a weekend of sighing and renewing my faith in the wonder of all that love can be. I wasn't sure what to expect with Solace as this is kind of a spin-off of The Kingood Duet, which was an amazing but darker read. I was very pleasantly surprised to see what the author had in store for Jason.

A bad boy looking to redeem himself, and the sweet country girl he left behind, now those are some fine ingredients for a second chance romance. Leave it to SL Scott to deliver.
Jason Koster was a supporting character in the recently released Kingwood Duet: Savage and Savior. We met him then as Eric, a friendly face during Sara Jane’s self-imposed exile. In Solace we learn more about him. And boy, does that make him all the more likeable!
