He puts the Bad in bad boy and she puts the Sweet in sweetheart. I am so excited that I got to read Jason's story. You will remember Jason from the Kingwood Duet. He was the mysterious guy you didn't get to know much about. Well now in Solace you get that chance and it is a chance worth taking. I loved this book. I loved and devoured the Kingwood Duet but there is just something about Solace that touched me so deeply I will not soon forget reading this book. It is one I am sure I will read many times over. Jason and Delilah are both amazing characters. Jason is such a romantic guy, something I was not expecting and I loved that surprise. He carries around some pretty heavy demons but in returning to his hometown he is able to put them to rest. Delilah is just one of those super strong resilient female characters that you are instantly drawn too. In the years that she and Jason have been apart life has not been easy or good to her. She and Jason are just so perfect for each other and need each other life flowers need water.

If you love second change romances you do not want to miss Solace. I swear with each book that S.L. Scott writes I just fall more and more in love with her writing and her characters. I can not wait to see what she gives us next. ...more

Let’s talk about Jason. Jason that cold hearted brut we met in Savage & Saviour. You think you know him but you have no idea. He’s a loving son with 1 major regret in life, his honeysuckle.
This was a book that warmed my heart. Who doesn’t love second chance romance. One click it today you won’t regret it.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Jason Koster and Delilah Noelle. Jason has returned to the town he grew up in. There is a part of him that wonders why he has come back at all but there is another part of him that knows exactly why he's there. It's her the one girl he could never fully forget or get over. He wonders is there a chance that they can have a second shot or will his time away make that impossible?

Jason is one of those guys you can't help but swoon over. I loved the fact that what he did while away from Delilah didn't turn him into someone emotionally closed off and they were about to have a second chance at love and life. Both Jason and Delilah are two very well developed characters and I loved how they were both able to voice their emotions to one another without the back and forth drama.
