I was one of the fortunate ones to receive an early copy of this beautiful book. Suzie Scott sure wrote one addictive story of second chance love, unbearable rejection and incredible devotion. Jason Koster returns to his hometown hoping to bury his ghosts and find redemption in the arms of his one true love Delilah Noelle. Can they heal their once broken hearts, forgetting all their past mistakes? Can a love so strong and complete hold them together when the going gets tough? I totally loved thi ...more

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

He puts the Bad in bad boy and she puts the Sweet in sweetheart. Jason is a hired gun who burns out from the life he has been living and returns to the small country town where rumors run rampant and everyone goes to church on Sunday. Sins and secrets follow Jason Koster home and he is searching for redemption in hopes of living a life less complicated. He didn't expect to find the only girl he ever loved, Delilah Noelle, a recentl

This was the 4th book in the Kingwood series. Jason was a mystery who seemed like the bad boy that was in love with Sara Jane. That isn’t the case he has always been in love with Delilah. Sara Jane was just a girl that reminded him of Delilah and this is their story.
After walking away from King, Jason needed to go home and find himself again he didn’t know what to do or who to be. He did a lot of terrible things working for King and he wanted to find his solace again.
Home was the only place to

Jason Koster has been gone from his hometown for five long years, leaving on the heels of heartbreak. But home is calling to him, and with it the memories of all that he's left behind. Time and life has changed him, and he's not the same person that left, but, if the one he left will give him another chance, he might just stick around.

If you've read the Kingwood Duet by author S.L. Scott, then you'll remember Jason. Yes, that Jason, the friend, protector, brother-in-arms, sexy, got-your-back

Oh Jason ♡♡

What can I say to make you understand all the feels this story gave me.
We met Jason in Savior. He was a man with secrets trying to figure out where he belonged. His journey leads home straight back to the love of his life Delilah. She has her own baggage she is trying to break free from. Can these two former lovers find their way back to each other?
Super sweet and sexy story. Jason is all alpha male wanting to do nothing but protect Delilah and prove he is worthy of her love again.

I wasn't a fan of Jason when he was introduced in another wonderful book by S. L. Scott. I had reservations about reading a book based solely on him. Though I did have some issues with what I felt were inconsistencies in his characterization, I think those were more in my head than anything in the writing.

Jason has had a lot of experiences in his life that have hardened him, emotionally and physically. Delilah's life hasn't been easy either, but she still finds the light in life. When they meet

I enjoyed reading Solace. It was a sweet second chance story. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was a spin off from the Kingswood Series. You don't however have to read those books to enjoy this one.
I was given an ARC of this book. I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
