Since I started reading romance, I’ve been all about second chance romances, especially when the couple shares such an intense and deep connection and then when S.L. Ridge by S.L. Scott is a second chance rock star romance. I enjoyed getting to know Meadow and Ridge aka. Dave. These two go through so much together it's heartbreaking and special to live through.

Her parents really did a number on her and she's not sure there is a happily ever after out there for her so she's put up walls to protect her hea ...more

Dave “Ridge” Carson just wants a chance. Meadow Fellowes is a confusing woman who may not know what she wants. Or she doesn’t want to take that leap of faith. I know that this is considered a second chance but the way our main characters seem to skirt around the edges, I’m not sure they even got a first chance. But then Dave hints at something from their past that could change my mind.

We know that Dave is in a band but his group doesn’t overtake the story so sometimes we can forget that part of
