Savior picks up right where Savage left off and boy oh boy what a ride it is. I swear I don't think a book has shocked me as much as this one has toward the end. Sara Jane and Alexander have a love like no two other people have ever had. They are so in love with each other and Alexander makes sure that his Firefly knows all the time that she saved him and that he is only himself when she is with him. Now though there are dangers on every corner for both Alexander and Sara Jane. He discovers so many things in the first book and those things that he tries to right now just might come back to bite him in the butt. I am so afraid of spoiling something so you just need to know that Savior is just as good as Savage and will have you reading just as fast as you can. There is so much that goes on in the book that it will keep you guess and then blow your mind when it is all revealed. It was so much fun to read and had me on the edge of my seat more times than not. I am still a huge fan of King and his Firefly and loved how much they loved and devoted of themselves to each other. It is a beautiful, epic, heart stopping story that you do not want to miss.

S.L. Scott has written an absolutely amazing duet. One that is so worth reading. It is a set of books that you will not soon forget and one that will have you reading well into the night. It is certainly a set of books that I will be reading again and again. ...more

Ohhhhh boy....the finale to the Kingwood Duet...What can I even say. Savior picked up exactly where Savage dropped me on my ASS!!! I mean the ending to Savage was brutal for me. So I was super excited to dive back into Savior. This COULD NOT be the end for these star-crossed lovers.

While I dove in whole heartedly, I knew that reading Savior was going to be a bit of a struggle for me. Just like the first book, I am absolutely captivated by S.L. Scott's writing, but it's a very slow read for me. ...more

Trying to find the words is so hard. But that's only because its such a fantastic book. Like wow!! I'm blown away by not only Savage when it first came out but Savior as well. S.L. Scott has an amazing book/series on her hands. I feel honored to be have been able to read both books. You are taken for a ride from the very beginning. The conclusion of this fantabulous duet is overflowing with emotions. With the way book 1 ended, I knew this part of the duet would be amazingly epic.
The more I read the more I loved it. Completely captivated from the beginning of book 1 to the end of book 2.

There is something real, something unique about each character you will love and admire. Alexander and Sara Jane's story is so beautiful and I felt everything the two of them were going through.

Savior is Book 2 in the Kingwood Duet by SL Scott. You definitely have to read book 1 or you will be lost. I was waiting for this book since I read the last line in book 1. SL Scott does not disappoint. This story had me entranced from page 1. We see the continuation into the story of Sara Jane and Alexander (King). I once I started reading it was hard to put it down. This book is not a stand alone, it is meant to be read after Savage. That being said we will get all the answers that we were left wondering about in the first book. Alexander continues to dominate this intense story! After surviving months waiting for the ending to Alexander and Sara Jane's love story, I must say I am delighted and totally satisfied with this second half. Such a great duet! This book was just as much an emotional ride as Savage! Such a dark, emotional, beautiful romance! Such a thriller from #SAVAGEtoSAVIOR. There was so much to this book. Love, betrayal, shock, Faith, doubt, joy, sadness and so on. Twists and turns. The total package! I would recommend this book to all.

Told from his and her POV, and past and present events.

For me the book got off to a slow start, picked up in the middle, and plateaued at the end. A major event happens, but it almost felt forced.

Overall I enjoyed the book and was happy to see such a conclusion for Alexander and Sara Jane.
