What Members Thought
This is a brilliant new version of the previously formulaic plot line that showed up in previous books. I think this is where the story really changes. Esmé Squalor is a brilliant villain, even better written than Count Olaf. I was actually disappointed he turned up at all. Esmé was enough. Don’t listen to the rude comments. This book is great. I loved Esmé’s enigmatic line “I want to steal from you the way Beatrice stole from me” OMG! Overall, brilliant book.
