I found this book very entertaining and better than books 2,3 and 4. I found it amazing of the punishments the orphans suffered and how they managed Sunny's assistant job. I also thought it was nice for them to make new friends who have expirences which are similar.

The stakes are raised so much more in this edition of the Baudelaire tale and I loved it! The Quagmires are beautifully described characters and I am truly rooting for them (and their *hopeful* return later in the series!)
